1° INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
OF WILDLIFE and LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

At the festival, the visitor will have a chance to explore the beauty and diversity of the natural world by viewing several exhibitions and conferences during 3 days.

The exhibitions and slideshows takes place around Vernet-les-Bains and also gives the visitor an opportunity to visit the village and its many attractions at the same time.

The possibilities to meet with the photographers during the festival, helps the visitors to better understand their work and all the planning, technique etc. which is behind each of their pictures.

"The wildlife of North America" by Daniel J. Cox

American photographer, Daniel has been photographing the natural world for more than 20 years.

Vincent Munier "Hokkaïdo" by Vincent Munier

French nature- and wildlife photographer from the Vosges region. His photographs has been nominated 3 times in the "Eric Hosking Award" category at the prestigious "BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year" competition.His work has appeared in several books and international magazines.

"Images of Nature" by Tom Mangelsen


Devoted to a lifetime of documenting the natural world, Thomas D. Mangelsen is one of the world's premier nature photographers. Driven by expressing the beauty and intricacy of the wilderness, Tom spends up to nine months a year in the field documenting the wild lands and creatures he so cares about. Tom received an Honorary Fellowship by The Royal Photographic Society in 2002, the North American Nature Photographer Association's (NANPA) Outstanding Nature Photographer of the Year 2000 award, as well as chosen BBC's Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 1994. His work has also been published in leading magazines such as Audubon, National Geographic, Life etc.

Danish photographer, who specialize in nature and environmental subjects. Martin has documented many protected areas, particular in France and North America. His images has been published widely in books and international magazines.

"And the Sea never rests" by Hans Strand

Swedish photographer, Hans focus his work on unique landscapes around the world. His images has been published in several books and many international magazines. He has won several prestigious awards for his landscape pictures, including the british "BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year" competition and he has been awarded the title "2003 Nordic Nature Photographer of the Year".
